It takes a bit longer than usual to create a full melt pool, but the overall wick performance is great. I don't use dye in my scented candles, but I do use different FO's from CS and other companies. HT is really good with this AL wicks. AL wicks burn evenly, flame size is good, no soot or mushrooming. I wish CandleScience included all AL wicks sizes in their wicks guide. I only found suggestions for AL100 and soy wax and bit of paraffin low melt point wax). It takes a bit longer than usual to create a full melt pool, but the overall wick performance is great. I don't use dye in my scented candles, but I do use different FO's from CS and other companies. HT is really good with this AL wicks. AL wicks burn evenly, flame size is good, no soot or mushrooming. I wish CandleScience included all AL wicks sizes in their wicks guide.
