The trick is to be PATIENT: heat to 185F, let it cool to 150, add FO and stir with a whisk for at least 2 mins. The key to getting smooth tops (no frosting, no heat gun needed) is to let it cool, stirring occasionally for even cooling, until the wax starts to look slightly cloudy and sticks to the sides of the pitcher (around 100F but I do not use a thermometer and go by look\u002Ffeel) then pour for perfect results every
