I discovered the trick and its patience. I set my timer for 30 minutes and just stir by hand nice and slowly. Nothing rushed just a nice even hand stir. The first time I made it I stirred by hand for 15 minutes and then by a hand mixer for another 15 minutes. It was a disaster as it plumped up the volume. It made way more than I thought but then after I filled the bottles and checked on the next day they were filled with lots of bubbles. When I tapped on tge bottles the bubbles popped and the volume came down. Lesson learned. A patient hand stir is what's needed. No mixer needed. I need a break after 15 minutes to rest my arm so I stop for a few minutes and then start up again. Completely great consistency not too watery at all. Just a nice viscosity lotion. My only comment is that there's a bit of a white residue when you first apply the lotion but it just takes a moment longer to rub in. Otherwise, the base is I discovered the trick and its patience. I set my timer for 30 minutes and just stir by hand nice and slowly. Nothing rushed just a nice even hand stir. The first time I made it I stirred by hand for 15 minutes and then by a hand mixer for another 15 minutes. It was a disaster as it plumped up the volume. It made way more than I thought but then after I filled the bottles and checked on the next day they were filled with lots of bubbles. When I tapped on tge bottles the bubbles popped and the volume came down. Lesson learned. A patient hand stir is what's needed. No mixer needed. I need a break after 15 minutes to rest my arm so I stop for a few minutes and then start up again. Completely great consistency not too watery at all. Just a nice viscosity lotion. My only comment is that there's a bit of a white residue when you first apply the lotion but it just takes a moment longer to rub in.
