The oils and water emulsified easily but the batter took a while to come to a light trace and remained there even with additional stick blending. After 24 hours we observed the soap had almost reached a full gel. Once the soap was cut into bars we found the outer edges discolored to a tan shade while the center remained a pale yellow. The scent was very light but we could still pick out notes of coconut and some woodiness. After some investigation, trying it with different waxes, blending etc. and retesting candles that have been curing for 1-2 months, I''m thinking this FO doesn't have a long shelf life. The same batch of candles I made in June that I tested and burned perfectly are now losing their scent. None of my other CS fragrance oils have done this. In fact, they all become stronger the longer they cure. I also smelled my bottles that I purchased about a month ago, and I am noticing how much the fragrance has dissipated. I really loved this fragrance when I first purchased it! Unfortunately I think it's best when it's fresh perhaps. I hope some revisions can be made because it really does have some nice qualities.
